I highly recommend Vick Audio! Their Big Muff reproductions sound incredible. Including shipping time, packaging, and communication; the service that Vick Audio provides is flawless. "Civil War" muffs are notoriously smooth but what separates the 1861 from numerous other Russian style fuzzes is it's inherent compression. In the stock setting, the 1861 fuzz sounds great following a Uni-Vibe in the signal chain while other Russian Big Muff pedals may not sound as good. Vick Audio is amazing!
