My favorite alternative to chapstick!
I got hooked on this stuff when it was in my Birchbox years ago, but finding it in this size at this value-- I'm obsessed!

Excellent waterproof Chucks
Fabulous quality, the neoprene lining is like a wetsuit for my feet, and, when paired with some comfy winter socks, it's hard to even take them off indoors. My only complaint is that the laces are difficult to undo and that some of the material bunches up between shoelaces, making them look cheap. The logo is also dark, so you don't get that classic "Chucks" look, but they're a great shoe and really wonderful for wet winter months.

Creative reading for the eco-aware
Bill McKibbin, Edward Abbey, and Thoreau, himself are some of the great writers featured in this anthology-- hopefully the last environmental call to arms this thick ever hopes McKibbin-- and this is an absolute gem for the scientist, student, or literature lover. This book reminds me that my calling is an important one without sacrificing great writing style.
