Not stable! The short leg in the front of the tripod makes it very easy to tip over,especially with a soprano sax left on the trumpet peg while the alto is lifted off. There goes the counter balance. I expected better from Hercules! The other older stands I've seen have 3 equal length feet on the tripod. They are rock solid, but not this new sax with side peg stand. I returned it. Seller was excellent! Quick shipping, good packaging, quick and painless refund! Thank you Ted Brown Music!
