VERY INTERESTING AND CHALLENGIN !!
2 of 2 found this helpful Who would have thought that forgiving "The Angel of Death" in Aushwitz is a way to deal with the horrifying past of survivors. It is definitely an unexpected angel in dealing with the unforgivable events of the Holocaust. The movie is very well done. All interviews are well conducted. This is a very challenging documentary that can provoke many discussions and arguments. NOBODY has the right to judge these survivors, therefore NOBODY can judge their reactions to their past and their choice of way to deal with it.

The interviews are beautifuly integrated with the footage behind and deliver a very clear report on the experiences of the European Jewry. All 5 movies, each in a different language, are very well made. These survivors, who represent different Jewish communities around Europe and who are now spread around the world, share their personal stories in detail and with much strength.
Higly recommended to whoever wish to get closer in understanding the Holocaust.

A true work of art !!
Even though NOT and easy-reading, this book expresses the high-complex personality of a human who has witnessed the worst of all. It is an INCREDIBLE book, extremely well written and worth lots of attention. It is different than any other book I have ever read on the topics of Holocaust. Highly recommended!
