"Flight of the Dead" is dead on arrival. Grade: D+
4 of 4 found this helpful Don't expert any George A. Romero quality in "Flight of the Dead," as this film is pretty much dead on arrival. The zombie "rules" don't apply in this film (ie: only headshots take out the undead, etc) and shooting limitless ammo inside a plane would turn the cabin into Swiss cheese, thus losing cabin pressure and crashing the craft pretty early in the movie.
If you can suspend your complete disbelief, maybe you won't feel completely cheated out of an hour-and-a-half of your life...but I wasn't able to and I'm a BIG zombie film fan (Romero classics and low budget garage flicks alike). I was excited by the promo trailer for this movie when I first saw it, but the final film product is absolutely nothing like the preview.
