Excellent Baby Sign Language Resource
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a wonderful resource for any new (or experienced) mother or childcare provider. Signing children are a joy to experience. Children that can sign do not tantrum for their wants and needs, instead they sign for communication! My daughter is 20 months and can sign well over 80 signs! She does not cry when she is hungry, she signs HUNGRY, etc. Everyone is amazed at the ideas and concepts she has readily picked up on with using ASL. Her verbal language is very advanced as well. I give this book (and the Sign with your Baby Complete Learning Kit) to all of my expecting friends. A big thumbs up to Sign2Me and their signing products.

The best getting started signing resource there is!
3 of 3 found this helpful I have signed with my daughter (20 months old now) since she was about 8 months old. This kit was what our family started with. It is an excellent resource for signing with babies! I loved the dvd because it has a dictionary with Joseph Garcia signing so you can actually see the correct handshape and movement being demonstrated by a real person. The book is great too because it goes into more depth than the dvd about the benefits, etc. The laminated guide is good for the diaper bag and to give to Grandma to learn some signs! My daughter now signs well over 80 signs and is a joy to be around because she communicates all of her wants and needs. (No tantrums-EVER! No kidding!) It has truly been an amazing experience to be able to have such specific two-way communication with my baby. I give this kit to ALL of my expecting friends and family. A big thumbs up.
