HUGE disappointment!
Received my 'new' 'Samsung' battery today. As soon as I took it out of the package, I noticed a ding in it and several other areas where the exterior was not smooth. I compared it to my 2 year old battery that came with my phone, and that battery was spotless, not a blemish on it. I thought immediately, "Is this a second, or really a Samsung?"
Well, now I know! I put the battery in my phone, plugged it in and charged it to 100%. I removed it at about 7 p.m. PST. It is now 3:18, and even though I have not used my phone once tonight (no calls, no texts, no data), the phone just shut itself off because the battery is DEAD after only 8 hrs. Since I barely ever use this phone, the battery that came with it used to last 3-4 days.
This is unbelievable!
