Great sound, size, and price!! It's loud, clean with smooth breakup!
The ac15 1x12 is a great amp!! I personally love it more then the ac30 just because of size and sound, and most of all, price! I went with the ac15 because first of all it was cheaper then the ac30. But I worried about the sound and volume. But before I got one I played played one, and I was very surprised at how loud it was. Every gig I play we mic the amps so I really have no need for anything huge. Even at practice without mics it blows everyone else out of the water and I have to turn it down. So as far as volume this amp can hold its own. This amp I have found breaks up a lot easier then the ac30, but that's a good thing for the band I'm in. I found that when you turn down the Master volume and turn up the normal channel volume it sounds more clean. But you can do just the opposite to cause it to break up more if that's what you like. When this amp does overdrive, it is a smooth, clean overdrive and I don't find it grungy at all. It's a great sounding amp that I would recommend to anyone looking for a good amp!! And I got mine brand new for $450!! And that is not full price, so if you see the "make an offer" option, USE IT!! Sellers usually are willing to bring the price down and work with you!
