Fascinating look into the world of violin making
A fascinating look into the world of violin making and most importantly how a player relates to an instrument. Treasured quote from Sam Zigmuntowicz uttered among his peers "What do we really know?" This is a question violin makes ask themselves everyday. For all of a makers hard work, sometimes a violin sometimes misses the mark becoming a favorite of a player. Violins and peoples experience relating to them is very individual It would be interesting if Mr Marchese could write an epilogue about whether Peter Druckers opinion changed, how the violin changed and how it has been used since.
