Very safe and makes a great bagel into 2 halves!
I needed this so my daughter and I can slice bagels w/o worrying about slicing a finger or a tendon. It is a great product!

Best vac ever!
We originally purchased this vacuum from BB&B 3 years ago. The hose at the head (bottom) where it bends 90 degrees to stand against a wall when off cracked, so we taped it. Then 6 mos later, it cracked so bad we had to replace the head, so we decided to get a whole "newsed" one and use it for parts bc we love it so much! We have a long hair cat and a very short hair dog, and long hair daughters, and this vacuum is the best! We will store the head separately to avoid damage.
