About

I m a little unusual. I like auction listings, I love local pick-ups, and I like to offer discounts for combined shipping. Also, if you like, feel free to ask me about Jesus. :-)

Encyclopedia of Australian Animals: Mammals

Great book for kids and adults to enjoy! All mammals of Australia.
Unlike some books that don't show every single species, this book shows, certainly most, if not all mammal species, including some of the recently extinct ones. It gives their scientific data, and shows a range map for them, as well as a photo and description. It not only includes land mammals, but also seals and sea lions found on the Australian coast, and introduced feral species such as European rats, mice, hares, rabbits, foxes, deer, pigs, goats, and exotic introduced species such as camels and water buffalo. If you're looking for the book with all the kangaroo, koala, platypus, wallaby, posssum, dingo, sugar glider, wombat, echidna, quoll, bandicoot, bat, mouse, rat, etc. species for Australia, this is the book for you! Definitely highly recommend it, unlike some other books that were rather sparse or incomplete.
Vegemite - 7.76oz (220g)

Great genuine Australian treat!
For those who have never had it before, you should try it first on hot buttered toast. A tiny bit goes a long way. Get a little bit, about the size of a peanut, on your knife, and spread it thinly over the entire buttered toast. Do not spread it thickly. It is salty in flavor, not at all sweet. It is an acquired taste! Young kids tend to love it if they experience it properly from a young age. It can be used in many other ways simply besides on buttered taste. See internet for more ideas, including adding cheese, tomatoes, avocado, or other things to the toast.
