I personally believe that reusing items such as clothing or household goods reduces our carbon footprint, but my frugality honestly comes from a close relationship with grandparents who survived the Depression Era. My mom was so talented and crafty during the time of handmade custom clothes and home décor. I grew up with clothes that always fit me, hand stitched quilts, and other crafts curtains and gardening. She taught me to be resourceful and find creative ways to make home special for my family.
