Ford HEI distributer - Perfect!!!
OMG this is an amazing upgrade for any Ford smallblock. I have always been a fan of the GM HEI system. Simple, dirt reliable, very high power. I replaced a distributor, a wall mounted control unit (unreliable secondary market trash), wall mounted coil and a whole mess of wiring harness with a single self contained unit with a single wire.
If you are a stick in the mud Ford purist then this may not be for you, because at first glance someone may ask 'why you put a Buick motor in a Ranger'? But as a GM and Ford fan I find the combination perfect.
