Full Box Topps Cricket Attax The Hundred 2022 Trading Cards 240 Cards Per Box
Mar 24, 2023
Accurate and clear.
Sealed box containing 24 packets totalling 240 mint cards. I ended up with 217 unique cards and 23 duplicates, that's about 1 in 10 and fairly reasonable. As advertised on the box (1:12 packs), I received 2 Limited Edition Cards, a Gold and a Diamond card respectively. There are 8 Golds and 6 Diamonds in the set so the Diamond is a good find. However, a Platinum Red is the one to have as there are only two in the set. This product loses a star because Topps should be offering an opportunity to customers to obtain the full set without having to buy endless packets. The full set for 2022 is 328 Cards with a further 16 Limited Editions. Worst of all, the product is released too late - in August - when the tournament starts and the kids are NOT in school which prevents the traditional school ground trading. I should drop a further star for the overall design of the cards which are garish at best. They are nowhere as good to look at as the corresponding football cards. Too many cards have the same picture of the player but in differing categories. Worst, the cards are plain vanilla on the REAR. One expects a far better product from Topps for the 2023 season and hope they launch it earlier than last year. There was also a Topps "On Demand" set of 40 cards which were really nice & very good for getting players to sign them altho again the rear was vanilla. Topps appears to randomly issue cards (there's also Topps Now), do they make things up as they go along? Lastly, their website ought to have documentation on past sets and we should not have to rely on Ebay Sellers for providing such info.
