Wow. So the direction says please be careful when bending because the balls will come off so I did however no matter how careful you are the balls fall off and break!! Nothing is holding these balls onto the earring! I owned these in the past and they never came off They break even with the slightest hold do not buy junk!!! I also contacted with questions right when I sent my money and nothing was answered beware do not buy these spend elsewhere!

These are STANDARD captives, the kind that has been around for decades and is the standard design. The bead is removable and it is tension that holds it in. You do not bend these at all (AND NO INSTRUCTIONS TOLD YOU TO BEND), you just pull the ball out. And to reinsert it you find the little dimples on either side of the ball and push it in. You obviously wanted and are thinking of "fixed" ball captives. Reaching out to us at any point would have cleared this up your confusion.
