    I send out well over a thousand discs a month in the same manner. Inevitably some may get damaged. But shipping this way is cheap and those savings passed on to the buyer to keep the selling price of discs so low. Shipping in bubble envelopes with tracking is a minimum $3.86 charge or $4.63 as media mail and that isn't practical on disc only orders.
