Great scanner, the airbag light has been on in both my 98 Z3 and 2015 Mini. I was able to retrieve the codes in the Mini and clear the light in the Z3. The scanner can read generic codes and display engine data in any OBDII equipped vehicles, I used on my 02' Beetle and 07' Volvo. For BMW products it has a ton of functions, I briefly activated the DSC module with it. For older BMWs, you do need the 16 to 20 pin adapter for the round plug under the hood. Highly recommend the seller!
