About us

We have been retailing quality, affordable rugs as a family business for over 40 years and we have learnt much in that time. Our passion is to find the balance between adding stunning texture and rustic shades to compliment your space while impacting the environment as little as possible. Since 2015 we have been working towards retailing rugs that are fully biodegradable and now in 2021 we are very close to that goal with 99% of our products containing no plastics or harmful chemicals or dyes. All of our cotton rugs are made with recycled cotton. We buy direct from a factory who are as passionate as we are about caring for our environment and their staff. Here at Rugsite we are not attaining to being the biggest supplier of rugs with no thought of the environmental cost but rather assisting you to create a beautiful, natural look in your room while affecting the world around us as little as possible. You will find our rugs do not cost the earth!
