About us

Reconsidered Goods, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, is a creative reuse center for the central North Carolina community. Our organization collects & organizes discards from local businesses and personal donations. We then redistribute the collected materials for reuse by others, which diverts the items from the landfill. We promote creative expression, environmental awareness, and community engagement through education, reuse, and the arts. We supply teachers, makers, crafters and artisans with affordable goods through donations from individuals and industry.

We envision a world where all non-trash items see a second life through art and creative reuse. We see a world where nothing is used once and thrown away ... but reused again and again.
