We have tried to charge as close to actual postage, plus a couple dollars for materials etc, as possible. This used to be easier until the past year or so when Canada Post began adding fuel surcharges to all parcels. Ebay's system does not calculate, factor or include this. After grossly underestimating shipping for a couple of items earlier this year, we have done our best to compensate. This has led to a couple of buyers being charged much more than our target amount, and once we send their parcels we find this out. We have partially refunded a few buyers this past year due to the fact that it has become impossible to guess what we will be charged at the post office lately. We promise to play fair but we cannot, and will not contact a buyer after shipping the item and beg them to make up the difference after the fact.
