I was a dentist for forty years. All my life I have loved to fish. There was a small lure collection in a plastic bin in my garage. When I retired I took them out to look at them. They were mostly mint lures. They had no theme. They were ones I saw online, liked, and bought. A few were gifts. When I started looking on EBay, Creek Chub and Pflueger lures attracted me.
When I see a lure I like at a reasonable price, I buy it. When I discover that I have duplicates, I sell one. My interest has evolved to be mint lures in boxes. When I search for lures, I sometimes find I must buy them as a lot. I then sell those "tackle box finds" also because they are not what I collect.
