I probably am at fault, I took direct oem replacement to mean same as original quality, unfortunately not the case. The cushion is better than the original however when compared to my passenger cushion from 1998 the older cushion is firmer and seats you higher than the brand new driver side. That's disappointing especially after reading the reviews of people saying thir seat was like new. The front of the seat cover is paper like fabric not vinyl like oem, mist gray is not R1AZ
