About us
I have been sewing since I was a child. My first project was a dress for my Barbie. I made a lot of my own clothes when a teen. I also have made clothing and other items for my children and grandchildren. As a retired nurse I now make dolls, bibs, children's aprons, Tie Dyed T-shirts, Sweatshirts and Hoodies, hanging dishtowels, painted wood items. I now spend as much time in my sewing room as I did when working full time.
New item. Six small wood cars. My husband is a woodworker and has a lot of small pieces of scrap wood. I needed a new project and decided to cut out vehicles and paint them. I have enjoyed cutting them out on the big saws and drills. putting them together and painting them. My husband Rick doesn't mind sharing his shop with me, but I'm not sure I would want to share my sewing room with him (:
