  the seller put masking tape on the fabric, my guess is for cataloging reasons, but this kind of fabric should NOT have tape placed on it & I dont know if I will be able to get the residue off :(

  The tape is for identafacation . It should not damage the fabric . Any problem , send it back for a refund .
