About us
Marjorie Brown is inspired by the legacy of my grandmother, Marjorie "Marge" Edwards. From my earliest memories going to collectible shows hand-in-hand with Gramma to the antique business that she kept up until her last days, Marge instilled in me a deep and abiding love for all things vintage and collectible. This love was even imparted to my wife and business partner, Melissa Brown, who built a close relationship of her own with Marge. She was an independent spirit and a modern woman, who raised four children on her own in a new town, Anaheim, CA, where she relocated the family from Michigan after a bitter divorce shattered their family unit. Out of such adversity, Marge thrived, managing not just to raise her kids, but to land a job at Disneyland's legal department, and earn her law degree at night, becoming one of Orange County's first female attorneys.Through it all she never let go of her passion for the treasure hunt that is the heart of this business we continue in her name.
