Welcome to Kathy Symonds Art

Being a full time artist is very rewarding and I am lucky to be able to what I enjoy best which is painting! Acrylic, Oil landscapes, and oceans are my specialties but I love working with other mediums as well especially when doing mixed media for abstract painting! Living in Colorado is a major influence such as my autumn aspen trees and mountain subjects.

Making Illustrations through a digital painting program is a fun hobby for me as well, they are digitally painted and will be noted as a print and not a painting, or sometimes called collages because I put many elements together using junk journal scrap book papers etc.
