    Item was described as “Brand New” but had pen marks along the side of the pages and had a strong musty smell. I feel that the described condition was very misleading when considering the actual condition of the book.

    I saw no pen marks and I do not believe the book smelt musty but it was new as in new and sitting on a shelf for a bit, not hot off the presses and just printed, that is what makes it rare. But I am concerned about what you say you saw and I have written to you privately to try and make things right.
