Retro games, toys, vintage t shirts, games, cards and collectibles galore.
I started this business in 2018 just selling random odds and ends that I found around the house and didn't need. It was a way to cover the 240 pounds a month I was losing on train travel working up London.
It worked. I began going through drawers and cupboards and boxes in the attic. Anything that wasn't nailed down was being listed online. I was addicted - but I was running out of stuff to sell.
I began charity shop hunting on Saturday mornings. I started purchasing boxes and packaging supplies. I started investing in pokemon cards and sealed video games. I was making more money than the 240 pounds that I needed to cover the train fare. It was snowballing.
Four years later and lockdown shut everything down. And for months and months I had Misty Island tosolely focus my attention on.
On May 2nd 2022 I took it full time. It's the best.
