Just ordered a second lens hood for the 40mm. Fit, function, and appearance is very good. Shipped promptly and delivery was surprisingly quick considering it was shipped SpeedPack, which is notoriously lousy shipping. Shipped in a plastic envelope with bubble wrap packing, which I probably wouldn't do myself but it did arrive undamaged. The maker of these hoods should be encouraged to produce them in additional sizes for other Nikon z lenses.
