  Although the doll came in the condition described she smells very musty and the packing material she was wrapped in plus her bonnet smell like cigarette smoke. I am going to attempt to get the smell out but am very disappointed as she is a gift.

  I am very sorry, I recycle boxes and packing material. And I am finding this is not a good idea. You are the third saying smoke smell. I will be using new boxes and packing material from now on. I sure hope airing her out helps because she is a very nice doll. Please keep me posted.
