    My father was a watch maker, in the times when no batteries were used in watches. He put tools in my hands before I could even write my name. I'm retired now, after too many years in IT, and I finally get to enjoy working with my hands instead of a keyboard. I spend time in my little 12 x 20 shop practically every day turning pens on a lathe. It is not work if you enjoy what you do.

    Last year I featured Exotic Woods from around the world to make some amazing pens. Now, we also have Paua Shells, Awabi Mother of Pearl, printed circuit boards as well as many new pen barrels designed by skill artists specializing is pen blanks for beautiful designer pens. It's keeps things interesting and it's fun to create new items and add them to the Pen Shop.

    I hope you have as much fun and enjoyment using my pens as I do making them.
