    Item probably works perfectly for the larger 20 gallon 1986 S10 fuel tank, however I have the smaller 13.2 gallon fuel tank. I used my old housing and installed the new pump. Removed the harness and installed in old housing. I cut the pipe the sender and float are welded to and after some grinding lined up new sender to match old location. Used hose clamps to attach together. NOT ideal! But I works as expected. My 1 minute install took 2 hours but unsure if I can even get a small tank send unit
