  Thank you for your understanding. For the benefit of others, this is a rare damage in shipping of an eBay International package. Since the new service was introduced, replacing Global, I have noticed a significant improvement in the shipping process and, on the rare occasions things go wrong, in the way buyers are looked after by eBay.
