3/15/25-USPS delays are expected due to changes in delivery standards implemented by Postmaster General Louis DeJoy to cut costs. The Postal Service is addressing mail delays in parts of the country where it launched the first wave of its network modernization plans. Issues with on-time delivery are being seen in regions where USPS is opening massive new facilities meant to streamline local operations.
Adding to the frustration postal workers and customers are experiencing with the new system, said Karol, is that when the mail arrives at the STCs, it is difficult, if not impossible, for even postal employees to track.
