Have now both the UFO alien lamp and the cow abduction lamp, both made in Taiwan. The lamps are very similar, however the stem of cow abduction lamp stands slightly taller than the UFO alien lamp. Nice bonus of the alien lamp is that the alien figurine standing on the base of the lamp is made in phosphorescent paint, making it glows after the lamp has been switched off. The cow lamp does not have such special features, transported cow figurine in the interior column looks perhaps too small.

Fittings leak. Bought new Shark-bite fittings. Leaks less but can't get them to stop and the required flow rate is higher then shown. Says .3gpm but more like .65gpm so I can't use it anyway. Unit shelved for now. Waste of money for me.

Hello, we understand your problem,
The water leakage may be caused by the cracking of the 8000T fittings when you lock it too tight during installation.
Even if you buy a new connector later, the connection will still leak, this may not be solved...
In addition, the 8000T flowmeter can sense the flow rate range of 0.5 – 3.72 gallon/min.
Therefore, if the flow rate is lower than 0.5, basically it cannot be sensed, which will cause the flow rate and flow to be inaccurate.
