    This slicer is sharp and I really like that julienne size (thin & thick) but the plastic part made really funny noises when I was using each slicer... I was afraid it was going to break/split into pieces... I wish for the manufacturere to put it in a stronger frame (possibly wooden frame) for the slicer to feel sturdy & not "whining" while being used. It did not break (as yet) & I am hoping for the best.
