You can take your home theater to the next level by incorporating the Yamaha RX-V671 7.1 Channel 90 Receiver into the mix. This network receiver can become the hub of all your home entertainment and communication electronics. With Internet connectivity, you can access streaming services, such as Rhapsody, Pandora and Sirius XM, as well as thousands of radio stations. Windows 7 and DNLA-certified, you can also import music and video files from your computer. Tap into music and video from any device that is connected to the RX-V671 network easily―smartphones and MP3 players included. Access can be easy through USB ports and terminals for headphones to tap into on the front panel of the receiver. In addition, you can download the A.V controller app to your iPhone and enjoy remote control from your phone. With ARC, this single HDMI connection is used for both the transfer to the TV and back to the Yamaha receiver, eliminating the need for a second cable. Audio quality is enhanced through Yamaha’s custom YPAO system. YPAO checks all the speakers in the room, sending out tones that it receives back for analysis. This analysis consists of equalization and other audio enhancement routines that check room acoustics and speaker settings. Then, YPAO makes the necessary parameter adjustments to the speakers, producing outstanding stereo sound quality for your enjoyment. Plus a music “enhancer” restores the proper frequency response to digitally compressed mp3 formats, which can produce the deep bass tones and clarity that the music originally held. A discrete amp configuration rounds out the audio features of note. Video is enhanced as well, which can improve your gaming and movie watching experiences. The A/V receiver can upscale video input signals up to 1080p, which can produce a much better picture for high definition television viewing. As an example, you can imagine taking old analog movies and having them reconditioned to HDTV levels. Lastly, Yamaha receivers are also rich with information that is accessible easily on the status and parameters set on any given input or output device. Yamaha receivers have an onscreen graphical user interface (GUI) with a high resolution display and information to allow you to check data and settings on all of your networked devices.
