He originally found commercial success in 1969, as the lead singer and lyricist for 'Deep Purple'. On leaving Deep Purple in 1973, Gillan subsequently formed 'The Ian Gillan Band' (around late 1975/early '76. ) and the band simply called 'Gillan' in 1978. Then after a spell with 'Black Sabbath', Gillan rejoined a reunited 'Deep Purple' in 1984. This 3 CD Box Set contains, Accidentally On Purpose, Naked Thunder and Scarabus. Along with 5 Bonus Tracks.
