VAMPIRE HUNTER D deftly blends elements of westerns, sci-fi, and horror, creating a frightening, violent, and innovative film that spawned countless imitators but was unlike anything that came before it. Yoshitaka Amano's conceptual designs for D, influenced the final animated character design of the fearless Vampire Hunter.
