Based on the 1991 landmark action film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, T2: Judgment Day puts you in the role of a T-800 Terminator, the same character Arnold played in the movie. Following the general plotline of the feature film, you are The Terminator and you have been sent back in time to protect the future savior of humanity, John Connor, and his mother, Sarah, from being assassinated by a T-1000 Terminator. You must also destroy a new form of microchip technology (based on the T-800 chip) that eventually led to machines becoming self-aware and taking over the world.<br><br>As the storyline plays out, you as The Terminator must punch, kick, and shoot your way through scads of bad guys while looking for items, characters, and weapons. These weapons include a pistol, a machine gun, a shotgun, and a multi-barrelled mini-gun. In level one you must also commandeer a motorcycle down busy streets, trying not to get yourself killed.
