It's a fight for survival inside the caverns of a mysterious planet. Vicious Electrosauri are attacking you with their electro-molecular charges, which are capable of disintegrating you on the spot! You can fight back with your photon ray pistol, but also watch out for the shaggy Marsupods creeping out from the caves. Will you and your crew survive? Find out in Space Cavern. Space Cavern is a shooter in which you must fend off attackers who are shooting at you from above. The twist in Space Cavern, however, is that you must also be aware of enemies that approach from the left and right sides of the screen. You are situated at the bottom of the screen, where you may run to the left or right. Two or four Electrosauri dance above you, firing their energy beams. On some levels, furry Marsupods will approach you from the left or right. Move the joystick up or down to fire left or right, respectively. There 24 variations to choose from in Space Cavern, each of which may be played by one or two players. Variations include the number of Electrosauri attacking, the presence of Marsupods, straight or random Electrosauri blasts, and initial level selection (1-3). The difficulty switch effects the speed of the Electrosauri blasts, with 'A' being the faster speed. You begin the game with four lives, and earn extras every 20,000 points.
