Magnifying at 1:3.8, this Sigma lens focuses closely on foreground objects while creating a large depth of field for background objects. Unlike a round 15 mm f/2.8 lens that creates a circular image, this Sigma lens is a diagonal fish-eye that results in full-frame views with virtually no vignetting. With a minimum shooting distance of 5.9 inches and a minimum aperture of f/22, the Sigma EX DG also features a smooth-operating focus ring that can be overridden for autofocus operation. With a slip-in gelatin filter holder, this lens lets photographers experiment with artistic, creative, full-scene photos and special filter effects.
