Images from the 16x optical zoom/64x digital zoom are sharp when viewed in the bright, generously proportioned three-inch color LCD screen, which is one of the camera's best features. The LCD screen is specially designed to resist fingerprints. It is coated with a low-reflectivity resin to reduce glare outdoors on sunny days when the brightness causes the LCD to fade slightly.The camera produces crystal-clear colorful images, and the freeze frame is crisp. The D.I.S. (Digital Image Stabilization) circuit senses movement of the user holding the camera and helps to reduce image shake and jitter, delivering a more stable picture. Titler lets you superimpose one of 8 preset titles on your videos when recording. Choose from a variety of "picture perfect" digital effects such as still, snap, strobe to add your own personal creativity to any scene. The Sharp advanced "Cat's Eye" circuit allows recording down to under 1 lux (the light of one candle about one yard away from the subject) and eliminates complex lighting arrangements and harsh flood light glare so you can capture images in almost no light. Hold the Viewcam in a variety of angles to record over people and objects or close to the ground. You can even record yourself by rotating the view screen by 180 degrees. This camera is also supplied with a remote control.
