McGinley), the anxiety-ridden ex-girlfriend Elliot (Sarah Chalke), and J.D.'s arch nemesis, known simply as "Janitor" (Neil Flynn). With guest stars such as Jason Bateman and Cheryl Hines, the fifth season earned an Emmy nod for Best Comedy Series. This season also includes the show's 100th episode, a crafty homage to THE WIZARD OF OZ.
