Nipping at the heels of such dog raising simulations as Nintendogs, Puppy Luv has players caring for one of six 3D Fidos as they attempt to raise their precocious puppy to adulthood. Each canine can be trained to perform over ten tricks, and players can visit an in-game store to purchase new toys, doghouses, and plants or trees to customize the yard. In addition to feeding, grooming, and walking the dog, players can enter six different competitions to earn money for such items as food bowls, collars, and other items. Digital dog owners can toss the Frisbee with their prized pooch, enter obedience events, and more.
