The Promaster FT1700 is a lightweight automatic flash for 35 mm film cameras. Included with the Promaster flash are two automatic operation settings: one designed for shooting up to 17.5 ft at f/4 (ASA 100) and the other for a distance of up to 35 ft at f/2. Additionally, the Promaster flash automatically controls light output and determines the correct exposure for the subject. Plus, the automatic flash can be used for bounce lighting and soft illumination. By setting the Promaster FT1700 to auto mode and determining the position of the subject, the flash head can be adjusted between 7 and 90 degrees. The Promaster FT1700 can also be positioned for straight-on flash photography. The Promaster FT1700 is a versatile flash that offers a variety of photography options.
