A disc-based version of Konami's long-running whimsical top-down action-shooter series featuring the TwinBee characters, set 100 years after the original. The 2D scrolling shooting game enabled two players to face waves of enemy drones side-by-side (hence the "Twin" in the game's title). Though the presentation opts for cute characters and whimsical level designs, the actual gameplay is serious stuff, complete with a simple power-up system that lets players collect differently colored bells to get a shield, twin-shots, and faster ship speed.
