Product Information
The new belt pirates, a highly organized, marauding band, have emerged to make a bid for control of the planet Veil and its germanium stockpiles. Intel believes them to be a major strategic risk to inner sphere supply lines. As the planet's only major garrison, there is no rest for the weary commandos from MechWarrior 3: Pirate's Moon. It's your job to stop them, so punch your time card and get started!

Pirate's Moon is the first expansion pack to MechWarrior 3. The single player campaign consists of ten objective-specific missions. Missions vary from attack and destroy to defend the base, escort or reconnaissance. Salvaged equipment from one scenario carries on to the next.

The Pirate Missions are isolated scenarios from the opposite point of view and are, effectively, the same engagements as the single player campaign with the objectives reversed. These are isolated scenarios and the results of one engagement do not necessarily affect the terms of the next.

Instant Action provides stand-alone engagements with customizable parameters. Like MechWarrior 3, multi-player is available via modem and LAN play. Pirate's Moon adds one new multi-player game variant where players attempt to defend and/or destroy bases.

Pirate's Moon includes a half dozen new "mech" types from which to choose. Even the famous clan elemental power armor seen in previous games is available! New weapons abound, including heavy and light versions of weapons from MechWarrior 3 and the thunderbolt long-range missile. Night missions are included as well as four new maps for multi-player games.Product Identifiers
