Known for its very wide lens opening, the Leica Apo-Tele-Elmar-S lens takes portrait-taking to a new level. The 180 mm f/3.5 APO lens captures images with a shallow depth of field. Images are clear and even thanks to the special glass on the Leica camera lens. This glass is highly refractive and has anomalous partial dispersion, which makes certain that apochromatic correction occurs. The 180 mm f/3.5 APO lens offers outstanding results across its entire aperture range. An S-bayonet mount on the telephoto Leica Apo-Tele-Elmar-S lens keeps commands and data exchanges between the camera and the lens smooth. One of the many wonderful features of the Leica Apo-Tele-Elmar-S lens is its focusing system. It has an inner focus system that is effective at a minimum distance of 5 ft. Because of this, it is capable of producing images with a 1:7 scale. Users can choose to override the autofocus and can use the focus ring instead. This Leica camera lens utilizes a microprocessor. Its silent gearing and iris diaphragm control make it a useful tool at ceremonies, concerts, and many other events.
