This fixed GPS receiver features 12 channels and is WAAS-enabled to ensure accuracy of course plotting. The 4.7-inch by 3.6-inch display screen is an LCD display with 320x240 resolution. Important marine features for this Furuno GPS receiver include a chart-plotter, a man overboard sensor, and sonar/sounder object tracking. The Furuno GP90 is equipped with an anchor alarm, an arrival alarm, and a shallow/deep alarm. This Furuno GPS receiver has a 12-second initial acquisition time and refreshes once per second in order to keep constant track of course navigation. Maximum horizontal accuracy for the Furuno GP90 is less than 33 feet. Maximum WAAS position accuracy is less than 10 feet, which allows the user to pinpoint course location on open waters within 10 feet. The Furuno GP90 is an affordable, waterproof GPS receiver for any marine enthusiast.
